First Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah and Defense Minister Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Sabah held a meeting to review local and regional developments at the joint civil defense operations room. The meeting was attended by senior security officials.
In the statement released by the Ministry of Interior, Sheikh Fahad emphasized the need to strengthen preparedness and improve coordination among authorities. He stressed that national security is a shared responsibility, requiring ongoing vigilance to protect the country and its resources.
The meeting reviewed cooperation efforts and discussed ways to boost readiness and strengthen field coordination among security and military sectors. During the meeting, they stressed the importance of closely monitoring regional developments, submitting regular reports, and enforcing the law firmly and fairly to strengthen state authority and preserve security and stability.
They also emphasized the need for full field readiness, mobilizing all human and technical resources, and strengthening real-time coordination to ensure swift decisions and effective emergency management with high discipline and professionalism.
