The Indian Community School Kuwait (ICSK) recently wrapped up the first session of its much-loved summer camp, Sunshine Splash 2025, offering children a month filled with creativity, sports, and personal growth.
The program began in early June with over a hundred participants, divided into age-based groups, each guided by dedicated teachers and coordinators. The camp aimed to encourage curiosity, confidence, and teamwork through a mix of indoor and outdoor activities.
Children enjoyed an exciting variety of sessions, including:
-
Eco-awareness: Learning practical ways to save energy.
-
Mind challenges: Quizzes, Sudoku, Abacus training, Rubik’s Cube solving, and Vedic Math.
-
Arts & movement: Drawing, crafts, music, dance, yoga, and Zumba.
-
Sports & skills: Swimming, basketball, volleyball, kabaddi, and martial arts training.
Beyond the daily schedule, the camp featured educational outings that blended fun with hands-on learning. Life skills workshops also taught essential lessons in empathy, leadership, first aid, and road safety, helping prepare students for real-world situations.
The closing ceremony was a vibrant celebration where children performed dances, spoke on stage, and proudly received participation certificates. The success of the camp was made possible by the hard work of the school’s management, passionate teachers, supportive parents, and enthusiastic students.
With the first session complete, Camp 2 began just days later, ensuring the energy and excitement of Sunshine Splash 2025 continues well into the summer.
