An 11-Year-Old Girl Tragically Dies from Shrapnel Injury in Kuwait, 4 Family Members Hospitalized
On March 4, 2026, the Ministry of Health in Kuwait announced the tragic death of an 11-year-old girl who sustained shrapnel injuries in a residential area in the Capital Governorate. According to the official spokesperson, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, the child was rushed to Al-Amiri Hospital through emergency medical services, where resuscitation efforts were made for approximately 30 minutes. Despite intensive attempts to save her life, the child succumbed to her injuries.
The Ministry also reported that four members of the girl’s family, including her mother, are currently undergoing medical evaluation and have been placed under observation at the hospital to ensure their safety and monitor their health condition.
The Ministry of Health extended its deepest condolences and sincere sympathies to the child’s family, praying for mercy upon her soul and wishing a swift recovery to the injured.
