The Cabinet of Kuwait has strongly condemned the recent Iranian attacks targeting Kuwaiti territory, affirming the country’s full solidarity with the affected nations.
During the Cabinet’s weekly meeting on March 3, 2026, chaired by His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the members were informed of telephone calls received by His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, from leaders of brotherly and friendly nations. These leaders expressed concern for Kuwait and strongly condemned the Iranian aggression as a violation of Kuwait’s sovereignty and international law.
The Cabinet was also informed of similar calls received by His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, from heads of state and prime ministers of several countries, reiterating their condemnation of the attacks and affirming their support for Kuwait’s leadership, government, and people.
The Crown Prince and Prime Minister visited key security sites, including the Decision-Making Room at the Ministry of Interior, the Joint Operations Center at the Ministry of Defense, and the Air Force Operations Center. They were briefed on efforts to maintain nationwide security, operational readiness, and mechanisms for responding to the Iranian attacks.
At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister were briefed on the latest regional developments, the diplomatic measures undertaken, and ongoing coordination with international partners in response to the aggression.
The Prime Minister also conducted inspection visits to vital facilities, including Kuwait International Airport, Al-Farwaniya Hospital, the Ministry of Health’s medical supplies and drug warehouse, the Mina Al-Ahmadi Refinery, the National Control Center at the Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy, the Kuwait Catering Company, and the Kuwait Flour Mills and Bakeries Company. These visits aimed to assess the readiness and security measures in place to address the situation.
The Cabinet mourned the martyrdom of two Kuwaiti Naval Force members, Sergeant Waleed Majeed Suleiman and Sergeant Abdulaziz Abdulmohsen Dakhel Nasser, and prayed for their families’ patience and solace.
