The Cybercrime Department of Kuwait stated that sharing such content constitutes a direct violation of Kuwaiti law and could lead to legal accountability for those involved.
Officials stressed that expatriates must maintain full neutrality and avoid engaging with provocative online content, particularly during sensitive regional developments. The measures are aimed at protecting national security, preserving national unity, and safeguarding the country’s social fabric, urging the public to act responsibly on social media and other digital platforms.
