Authorities in Kuwait have warned expatriates and residents against publishing or circulating electronic content related to wars, military operations, missiles, or material that incites sectarianism or sedition. The Cybercrime Department of Kuwait stated that sharing such content constitutes a direct violation of Kuwaiti law and could lead to legal accountability for those involved.
Officials stressed that expatriates must maintain full neutrality and avoid engaging with provocative online content, particularly during sensitive regional developments. The measures are aimed at protecting national security, preserving national unity, and safeguarding the country’s social fabric, urging the public to act responsibly on social media and other digital platforms.
