Zain Kuwait has secured two major awards at the Telecom Review Excellence Awards held during the 20th Telecom Review Leaders’ Summit in Dubai, recognizing its leadership in 5G-Advanced technology and innovation.
The company won Best 5G Advanced Business Innovation and Best 5G Advanced Network Experience awards, cementing its position in next-generation connectivity. These accolades acknowledge Zain Kuwait’s ability to translate advanced network capabilities into tangible customer and business value.
Zain Kuwait’s Chief Technology Officer, Daaij Al-Oud, emphasized that true network leadership extends beyond speed records. “It is about translating these advancements into tangible improvements in how people connect, communicate, work and experience the digital world,” he stated.
The company’s achievements include Kuwait’s first successful six-carrier 5G-Advanced verification, reaching peak speeds of 3 Gbps with improved spectrum efficiency and indoor coverage. For businesses, Zain Kuwait demonstrated a regional-first 31 Gbps verification, showcasing ultra-high-capacity networks for enterprise environments supporting IoT, cloud applications, and AI-driven solutions.
Al-Oud participated in a high-level panel discussion exploring how rising data consumption and AI workloads are reshaping network requirements, emphasizing the shift toward consistent performance and intelligent, adaptive networks.
