Minister Boodai Reassures Expats: No Shortage of Water, Fruits, and Vegetables in Kuwait

Minister of Commerce and Industry Osama Boodai visited several water bottling plants and the Al-Fardha vegetable market to ensure the availability of essential goods in the local market. At the Al-Rawdatain Water Plant, the Minister reviewed the strategic water reserves, production capacity, and the 24-hour operation system, which contributes to enhancing supply readiness and meeting consumer needs.

The Minister’s tour also included a visit to the Aqua Gulf plant, which is operating 24 hours a day with intensified efforts to increase bottled water production, thus supporting market stability and ensuring product availability. Boodai’s visit to the Al-Fardha fruit and vegetable market in the Sulaibiya area assessed the quantities received, the available stock of fruits and vegetables, and the supply and distribution mechanisms to ensure the continued flow of goods and the smooth operation of the market.

In a press statement, the Ministry reassured the public that the quantities of water, fruits, and vegetables available in the markets are very plentiful, and that the strategic reserves are sufficient. The factories are continuing to operate at full capacity to guarantee meeting demand and maintaining stable supply. The Minister also confirmed that the flow of goods and vegetables in the markets is proceeding smoothly and in appropriate quantities to meet consumer needs, stressing the continued monitoring and coordination with the relevant authorities to maintain regular supplies and enhance the stability of the local market.
