Kuwait Armed Forces Intercept 12 Iranian Drones, 14 Missiles
On Friday, the Kuwait Armed Forces intercepted and destroyed 12 drones and 14 rockets fired from Iran against the State of Kuwait, according to Colonel Saud Al-Atwan, the army spokesman. The attack caused only material damage, with two of the rockets crashing outside the “threat zone.”
Al-Atwan stated that the drones were fired at the north and central regions of Kuwait, while the rockets were targeted at southern areas. The Armed Forces Chief of Staff Command confirmed that the explosions heard in different parts of the country were due to the interception operation.
The Armed Forces affirmed their readiness to deal with any threat in a decisive manner to protect the sovereignty, security, and stability of the State of Kuwait.
