Kuwait Expats Report Lost Passports via Sahel App Now

Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior has launched a new digital service allowing expatriates to report lost passports and obtain official loss certificates through the Sahel application. The “Certificate of Loss of Passport” service is available in the Security Services section of the Sahel app, enabling foreign residents to complete the entire process electronically without visiting government offices.

Using the service, expatriates can report missing passports and receive an official certificate to submit to relevant authorities. The ministry introduced this initiative to simplify administrative procedures, reduce paperwork, and improve access to government services for expatriate residents. The launch is part of Kuwait’s broader effort to expand digital government services and enable residents to complete official transactions through a unified electronic platform.

What This Means for Expats: If your passport goes missing, you can now handle the loss report and certificate request from your phone or computer through Sahel, saving time and eliminating the need for office visits.
