Al Rashed International Shipping Co., one of Kuwait’s leading shipping companies, celebrated the nation’s 64th National Day and 34th Liberation Day with great enthusiasm at its headquarters.
The festivities began with a friendly competition among the nine floors of the company’s building, centered on the theme “Kuwait’s Heritage and Progress.” Chairman Mr. Bassim Saud Al Rashed opened the event with a warm address to the staff, while Mr. Pradeep Menon highlighted the company’s growth and expansion across the GCC, with operations now in Iraq, Qatar, Oman, and Saudi Arabia.
Each floor was decorated to reflect Kuwait’s rich traditions, featuring cultural artifacts and even historic photographs from the 1950s showcasing the company’s long-standing business ties with various countries. Staff members wore festive attire and carried a shared sense of pride and family spirit.
In a gesture of humility and connection, Mr. Bassim Saud Al Rashed personally interacted with employees from all departments, including kitchen staff and helpers, and posed for photographs with them.
The celebration brought together all 280 staff members, making it a memorable occasion filled with unity, pride, and cultural appreciation.
