Gaza health officials reported that strikes killed at least six Palestinians on Wednesday in two separate incidents. An airstrike on a vehicle in the Tel Al-Hawa neighborhood of Gaza City killed at least four people and wounded 14 others. A separate airstrike on an apartment in Gaza City killed a woman, and a third strike outside a mosque in Khan Younis killed one person and wounded others.
The Zionist military did not immediately comment on the reported strikes. Zionist entity says Hamas has been rearming and launching attacks in violation of an October ceasefire, prompting increased strikes in recent weeks. Hamas denies attempting attacks or rebuilding its arsenal and accuses Zionist entity of undermining the Gaza peace deal.
A US-brokered ceasefire calls for eventual reconstruction of Gaza, but little progress has been made as negotiators have failed to agree on terms for Hamas disarmament and troop withdrawal. At least 1,400 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza since the ceasefire began, according to health officials. Palestinian authorities report more than 74,000 people have been killed since Zionist entity’s assault on Gaza launched in October 2023.
