The monthly meeting of Pratibha Kuwait, a Malayalam writers’ association, was held in Fahaheel, Kuwait. The gathering emphasized that all forms of art aim to enrich public spaces by elevating individual culture and nurturing creativity.
Speakers reflected on how the complexities of life’s conflicts help deepen our understanding of the human experience.
The highlight of the event was the launch of the June issue of the association’s magazine, Juno. Writer Xavier Antony officially released the issue by presenting a copy to artist Praveen Krishna. The meeting also featured discussions on the literary works included in the magazine.
It was announced that, under the auspices of Pratibha Kuwait, novels by Malayalam writers will be published in September.
The meeting, presided over by Shibu Philip, saw active participation from members including Preman Illath, Manikandan Vattamkulam, and Jawahar K. Engineer, who shared their insights during the discussions.
